Education Day 2024 Opening Keynote, Paul Born

2

Belief in the power of community is at the heart of Paul’s life and work. He brings the joy of belonging to all that he does. He has been called a “master practitioner” as he supports communities move beyond individualism and isolation and into a deepened process of relationship-building that results in whole community change.

The three “sisters” of community engagement are: Inform - Consult - Involve. When people have good information, they feel empowered to join in. When people are consulted they know their ideas are valued. When people are involved they take ownership and are committed to the outcome. Come build community with us!
