The Division of Palliative Care coordinates regional palliative academic rounds twice a month. These one hour presentations are scheduled every 2nd Friday from 0800 – 0900h and currently are held at the Hospice at Maycourt in Ottawa and are available on the Ontario Telehealth Network (OTN). The Palliative Medicine Journal Club Rounds is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the University of Ottawa’s Office of Continuing Professional Development for up to 19.0 Mainpro+ credits. (Program ID code: TBD for 2020)
WIPS and M&M Rounds are not eligible for Section 1 or M1 credits
